Guided tour of the Meyer Werft
During the sightseeing tour that lasts about 1½ hours, you will see the largest covered dry dock in the world. You will be able to see the shipbuilders work inside the dock from your vantage point on a visitors' platform, underneath the roof of the 60-metre-high hall. From this platformis it is possible to look into the cross-section of a gigantic ship as it is being built.

Evening trip on a riverboat
Experience the popular riverboat evening trip with a cold and hot captain's dinner buffet and lively dance music from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The dreamboat of the Ems, the "Warsteiner Admiral" will take you up the rivers Leda and Ems, reaching the Dollart on an idyllic, atmospheric evening trip. Everything will be prepared for your trip, especially a good old-fashioned buffet. After that, enjoy lively dance music played by the ship's musician in this exclusive riverboat atmosphere. The long Ems-Dollart-Route to Groningen (Netherlands)

Day trip to Leer
Your day in Leer starts with a relaxing tea seminar with the traditional East Frisian tea, Krintstuut and Botter, which is a local style bread roll with raisins. Well starched you will now take part in an expert guided tour of the restored Old Town and the Civic Hall. After climbing up the tower of the Civic Hall you can an enjoy a panoramic view over the cities roofs. In front of the restaurant “Historische Waage” in the heart of Leer´s Old Town Captain Brinkmann and his crew are now waiting you for to take you on a trip by boat through the harbour of Leer. The crew will give you a lot of information about the harbour and the ships within.

After and exciting and interesting stay in Leer the day will end with an East Frisian style dinner according to the season in the restaurant “Historische Waage”.

Catamaran trip to Borkum and back
Spend a leave day on the North Sea island of Borkum. The high-tech catamaran “Nordlicht” takes you to the popular island in 150 minutes. You can enjoy bathing in the sun or the sea, bulid sandcastles, enjoy the fresh sea air and go for a stroll in the city.

Von-Velen-Museum
In this museum the city of Papenburg shows its original face. The show-piece of the open-air museum ist the “Papenbörger Hus” which was build in 1820. Expert guides lead the visiting groups through the museum and tell them about the everyday life of the first settlers in the hostile moorland. “The first the dead, the second in dread, the third the bread”. Life-size bronze figures such as “Jan Treck” or “Fisherman Hinnerk” give clearly impressions of the history of the settlers.
After the tour the guests can strengthen themselves with buckwheat cake, cranberries, tea and a “Papenburger Moorwoater”.
